Refund Policy:
Full Refund: Students are entitled to a full refund of tuition fees, minus the application fee (referred to as the "non-refundable fee"), if they cancel their enrollment in writing within the first two weeks of the semester. The refund will be deposited into the student’s account within 30 days of withdrawal or cancellation. The official cancellation notice can be sent via email, regular mail, fax, or in person. The postmark date will be considered the actual cancellation date if sent by mail. To qualify for a full refund, the student must withdraw by the end of Sunday of the second week of the semester.
Partial Refund: Students may withdraw at any time. If a student withdraws after the commitment-free period, tuition and other fees will be refunded proportionally based on the following policy:
Item | Refund Amount |
---|---|
Withdrawal within the first two weeks of the semester | 100% of paid tuition fees |
Withdrawal between the third and fifth weeks | Two-thirds (⅔) of the tuition fees (if fully paid) |
Withdrawal after the start of the sixth week until the end of the semester | No refund |
Refund and Installment Plan Policy: Students are allowed to pay tuition using an installment plan. If the amount paid in installments is less than the refund amount, the student is obligated to pay the remaining tuition. If the student withdraws between the third and fifth weeks, one-third (⅓) of the tuition fees will be due after the start of the sixth week, and the full amount will be due.
Study System:
- Study materials are sent to students via MOODLE or the researcher’s email.
- Students communicate with their course instructors using modern technological means.
- Students can sit for exams when they feel ready to pass the subject exam. They will be notified of the results shortly after the exams.
- The university will send the student's certificate to their residence via express mail.
- If a student is unable to propose an acceptable research topic for their Master's or PhD, the university will suggest one after the student has made multiple attempts.
- The university assigns a mentor to guide the student in drafting the research plan and ensuring proper formatting, ensuring the plan follows the guidelines and is well-presented.
- If the topic is new, valuable, and beneficial, the plan is accepted, and the student is informed. The university will then assign a supervisor to oversee the student's progress. External supervisors are not accepted to maintain academic standards and ensure transparency and fairness.
